immaculate constellation

Did you see the hearing in congress on Wednesday?

Once again, the House Oversight Committee has met to discuss the topic of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena and UFOs. This time, a purported whistleblower report suggests that the Pentagon has been running a secret UAP study and retrieval program (which, be honest, this is absolutely not the first time we’ve heard the Pentagon accused of doing just that).

This supposed program, purportedly named “Immaculate Conception”, has been alleged to have been in operation at least since the dissolution of AATIP (Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program — this is the program that Lue Elizondo helped to inform the general public about in 2017 alongside the release of the so-called gimbal and go-fast footage). It’s purpose: to photograph, record, and otherwise stockpile data on UAPs in attempt to better understand their origins such that recovery of any potential damaged or downed crafts can be made more easily.

Wednesday, Representatives Mace and Moskowitz (alongside Elizondo and other witnesses and experts) led a House Panel discussing the program, in the process releasing the whistleblower’s report.

There’s some really interesting stuff in this one! I mean, every time we get one of these new reports or new house panels or new books there’s always something of note. The implications here, though, are ones that I’ve wondered about.

Alongside descriptions of some of the stockpiled footage (my personal favorite being the “… large saucer shaped UAP… between 200-400 meters in circumference…” that, in using a bank of clouds as cover, “… had become aware that it was under observation…” and moved evasively to avoid being further captured on film) is the implication that the United States is involved in something of an arms race with its adversaries to attempt to recreate the capabilities of the technology present in these craft.

There’s not much else to the report but I definitely recommend you read it when you get the chance (I’m going to be hosting it here on this site just in case anything happens; this is something I’ve suddenly come to decide that I’ll do with whatever interesting document releases there are in the future, so expect a new page on the site someday soon), however I’d like to remind you, dear reader, to never take any of these documents too seriously. Please don’t get too wrapped up in any of it. (1)

Although I’ve come to loosely trust Elizondo (and it is, indeed, a very tenuous trust that I have in him and what he says), I still have my doubts sometimes. Don’t take this as anything like an attempted character assassination, I just think we should take most of what Elizondo says or is attached to with a grain of salt. Perhaps a big one.

Elizondo worked as a counterintelligence officer while in the US Army. This doesn’t mean that he’s still out there spreading disinformation on behalf of the government, but it also doesn’t mean he isn’t. Elizondo has always reminded me of Richard Doty (a member of the USAF Office of Special Investigations). There are connections between these two that make me uncomfortable.

For anyone not familiar with the name, Doty weaseled his way into UFO communities spreading blatant disinformation, fabricating major parts of what would become common pieces of UFO folklore (hate to break it to you, guys, but Project Serpo isn’t real), as a part of the US government’s general campaign of humiliating and degrading anyone with an actual interest in this topic. Of course, Doty’s subterfuge in this community comes after he singlehandedly led to the suicide of a UFO enthusiast that he befriended, but that’s a story for another time (his name was Paul Bennewitz if you want to look him up).

So, I honestly don’t know if Elizondo is another Doty. There’s really no way for any of us to know.

Just, please, every time you see a familiar name popping up, and especially if they keep claiming that they’ve got some kind of secret knowledge, don’t come too close to them.

Always be wary.
